Shri Marleshwar Temple.
Shri Marleshwar temple is a mere 17 km from Shelar Farm House. A divine destination located among high mountain ranges. An abode of Lord Shiva its a temple in rock cut cave which is a visual treat for all. Shri Marleshwar temple also has a perennial waterfall which is a must visit for all devotees. This temple is known as 'Trambakeshwar' of Konkan. On the day of 'Makarsankranti', Local villagers celebrate with great enthusiasm. On the occasion of 'Mahashivratri' and 'Tripuri Poornima' there is fair at the temple. For reaching the temple the devotees have to climb 200-250 steps which are very well spaced and give an amazing view of the mountain range. During the monsoon the temple is closed for devotees on account of heavy rains. The locals believe this temple to be very lively, holy and spiritual and hence follow strict abstinence from non-veg food before visiting. The temple is also famous for snake sighting within the temple. If one is lucky he/she can spot a snake inside the temple. The snakes have not troubled any devotee till date. This is one place the tourist should definitely visit.
